If Cookies were Currency

First off, I have a few problems with this idea. If the value is based on freshness, then wouldn't the idea of different types of cookies holding different values be irrelevant? Also, this means that it is nearly impossible to save, leading to more scenarios playing out like this: "Hey man, I got two grand, but it's only good for about a week. Let's go blow it in Vegas."

I also don't like the effect this has on the culture of our country. This renders an entire aspect of food inedible, and I'm sure that all cookies will be seized from storeswhich will not only cause the companies to lose profit, but it will also be money wasted sending out our troops/police officers.

  1. I like how you have a valid argument that cookies should not be a form of currency. I like how you give different scenarios and evidence for why this form of currency would not be a good idea.
